CPS Test Guide
What is a CPS test?
CPS stands for clicks per second. A CPS test, also known as a click speed test, measures how many times you can click during a fixed period of time. Your total number of clicks is divided by the test duration to calculate your CPS score.
How to test your click speed
- 1. Choose the 1, 5 or 10 second CPS test.
- 2. Click inside the game area to start the timer.
- 3. Click as quickly as you can until time runs out.
- 4. Check your final clicks-per-second score.
- 5. Hit AGAIN and try to beat your best result.
1 second CPS test
The 1 second click test is a short burst challenge. Because the test lasts only one second, every click has a large effect on the final score.
5 second CPS test
The 5 second CPS test gives you enough time to establish a clicking rhythm while remaining short enough for quick retries. It is the default mode in this test.
10 second CPS test
The 10 second click speed test lasts longer and challenges you to maintain your clicking pace instead of relying only on a quick initial burst.
How is CPS calculated?
For example, 40 clicks during a 5 second test equals 8 CPS. Different test lengths can produce different results, so compare scores from the same duration when tracking your progress.
