Connect 4 is a two-player strategy game played on a vertical grid. Players alternate dropping discs into columns, with each disc falling to the lowest available position. The objective is to create a line of four matching discs before your opponent.
How to play Connect 4
- 1. Choose VS Computer or 2 Players.
- 2. Red makes the first move.
- 3. Choose a column to drop your disc.
- 4. Players alternate red and yellow discs.
- 5. Connect four horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win.
Connect 4 vs computer
In VS Computer mode, you control the red discs and move first. The computer controls yellow, looks for winning moves, blocks immediate threats and evaluates the board before choosing a column.
2 player Connect 4
Choose 2 Players to share the board with a friend. Player 1 uses red and Player 2 uses yellow, with both players taking turns on the same phone, tablet or computer.
How do you win?
A winning line contains four discs of the same color. The line can run from left to right, from top to bottom or diagonally in either direction. Blocking your opponent while building more than one possible line is an important part of the game.

How do you play Connect 4?
Players take turns dropping discs into seven columns. The disc falls to the lowest available space in that column. The first player to connect four discs wins.
Can I play Connect 4 against the computer?
Yes. Choose VS Computer to play as red against the computer, which plays as yellow.
Can two people play Connect 4 on the same device?
Yes. Select 2 Players and take turns dropping red and yellow discs using the same screen.
What counts as four in a row?
Four matching discs can connect horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
What happens if the board fills up?
If the board fills completely without either side connecting four discs, the game ends in a draw.
