How to play Mahjong Solitaire

- 3. A tile can be selected only when nothing covers it and at least one side is open.
- 4. Removing tiles exposes new matches deeper in the layout.
- 5. Clear all 144 tiles to win.
Free tiles and matching rules
Numbered bamboo, character and dot tiles match the same suit and number. Winds and dragons match their corresponding symbols. Flower tiles can match other flowers, while season tiles can match other seasons.
Hint and Shuffle
Use Hint when you want help spotting an available pair. If your choices leave the board without a playable match, Shuffle rearranges the remaining tile faces so you can keep playing.
